Once a farm for breeding horses, the land has been in the O’Farrell family for three generations. With the sudden death of his father, Tom Sr. in 1970 Tom Jr. became a businessman overnight running the farm, an insurance company and auction company. Over the years the decision was made to get out of the horse business and Tom bought approximately five acres of the family farm with a house and outbuildings. The outbuildings were ideally suited for storage and the auction/insurance business. As time rolled on, Tom also closed down the insurance and auction businesses and for the past 15 years has focused all his time and energy on the storage rental facility.
